Setup: Mac Book Pro Intel 2019, 64gb ram, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen sound card, Presonus AudioBox 22 VSL sound cards, Sony digital recorder.
We taped a piezo microphone on the body of a guitar plugged into the sound card, hit the body of the guitar with a hard pen, and recorded the sound. A Y wire has been used to connect the piezo microphone to the sound card on the left channel and a microphone has been connected to the right channel. The stereo signal has been recorded with a Sony digital recorder. The latency is the difference in time between the peaks on the left and right channel, measured using Audacity.
